Following the principles of Feng Shui, for optimal health, energy and fluids must flow freely through our spaces to nourish our bodies and minds.  Let’s start by addressing the foundation of our existence: the home. Your home is not merely a structure but a sanctuary where the dance of energies shapes your everyday life. 

  1. Begin by decluttering your space because a cluttered environment impedes the smooth flow of Qi, leading to stagnation and imbalance. Allow each item you decide to keep in your home to serve a purpose, creating space for the free circulation of energy.

  2. Pay attention to the layout and arrangement of your rooms. In Feng Shui, the placement of furniture and décor influences the distribution of Qi. 

  3. Position your bed, your center of rest, rejuvenation, and romance in the commanding position—allowing you to see the door of your bedroom while lying down, symbolizing a sense of security and empowerment. 

  4. Make sure that pathways are clear and unobstructed, inviting the Qi to meander freely through your space.



Now, let’s focus on your body’s health and your nutrition. What we consume not only fuels our bodies but also impacts the flow of Qi within us. 

  1. Embrace the vitality of nature by incorporating fresh, vibrant produce into your diet. Opt for organic options whenever possible, honoring the earth and its bountiful offerings. Reduce all foods and substances that cause inflammation in your body. Declutter your body that way.

  2. Consider the ancient wisdom of Traditional Chinese Medicine, integrating warming foods during colder seasons and cooling foods during the heat of summer.

  3. In addition to nurturing our physical bodies, it is imperative to pay attention to our mental and emotional well-being. Create moments of stillness and tranquility within your daily routine, whether through meditation, mindfulness, or simply basking in the serenity of nature. Surround yourself with uplifting energies, be it through soothing colors, inspiring artwork, or the gentle melodies of ambient music.

As we navigate the passage of time, it is essential to cultivate resilience and adaptability. Embrace change as a natural facet of existence, flowing with the currents of life rather than resisting its ebbs and flows. Seek balance in all aspects of your being, honoring the interconnectedness of mind, body, and spirit.

Special tip: make sure the center of your home is extra clean and organized. Make sure you have earth elements present here for the balance and wellbeing of you and your family. And - place healthy round-leaved plants in the East direction of your home for better health.
