We all have dreams and goals that we want to achieve. While putting together a vision board may seem simple, and it can be extremely powerful when done right.
Vision boards can help create an environment of positivity and abundance that you can use as a catalyst to manifest your goals.
A few years back, I saw a post of some friends on social media with wonderful photos of the entire family creating vision boards at the end of the year. It looked like a lot of fun.
Still, nothing really sunk in.
Then I noticed my Feng Shui Master talking about vision boards with Feng Shui in mind and followed her instructions for that specific year. The results spoke for themselves as I found myself more focused and more inspired that year. All that clarity led to great changes I made. Now I am hooked. Every year I create a new vision board with the Feng Shui of the new year in mind.

A vision board is a visual representation of your dreams and future aspirations. It usually consists of pictures from magazines or photographs glued onto cardstock or canvas to create an inspirational collage. You can also incorporate words or quotes onto the board if desired.

The Process of Creating a Vision Board
The first step when creating a vision board is to center and ground yourself. To brainstorm what kind of images and elements represent the goals you want to achieve or the feelings you want to experience, it is best to be connected to your inner guidance. Ground yourself or meditate to achieve that.
Once this part is complete, the next step is picking out specific images from magazines or online sources that align with the goals and feelings identified during brainstorming. Additionally, incorporating Feng Shui into your vision board can add another layer of intentionality when creating it as it follows certain principles, such as color choice, placement, cures, and activations for the current year, to create balance and harmony within the collage itself.
Re-Wiring Your Brain With Your Vision Board
Once the creation process has been completed, having a physical visual representation makes manifesting much easier since there are messages hidden within each element on the board. These elements serve as subtle reminders throughout the day regarding what needs attention or focus moving forward to make those goals come true.
