No. Feng Shui is a 3,000-year-old system of environmental design, not a belief system. It maps how layout, orientation, light, and flow influence the people in a space. Modern environmental psychology confirms the core premise: your surroundings measurably affect stress, sleep, focus, and behavior. Clients who arrive skeptical often notice changes first, because they were not expecting anything.
-
No. Feng Shui does not involve worship, prayer, or spiritual practice of any kind. It is a design discipline concerned with how your physical environment supports your daily life. Clients of all faiths and no faith work comfortably with me.

Very well. Most of my clients are virtual. Classical Feng Shui analysis is based on your floor plan, compass orientation, move-in dates, and birth data, all of which you can share from anywhere. We meet on Zoom after you send me a walk-through video of your space, and you receive the same personalized guide, Bagua overlay, and action list as an in-person client. I work with clients across the United States, Europe, and beyond.

Some clients notice a shift in how their space feels within days of making the first adjustments. Changes in sleep, focus, and daily ease typically come first. Larger life changes, such as career movement or financial improvement, tend to unfold over weeks to months as you implement the action list. Feng Shui creates supportive conditions; it does not replace your own decisions and actions.
-
Almost never. Most recommendations involve rearranging what you already own, decluttering strategically, and adjusting how you use specific areas. Where a remedy item is helpful, it is usually simple and inexpensive. I will never recommend purchases you do not need.
-
Generic tips treat every home as identical. Classical Feng Shui is calculated from your specific floor plan, compass orientation, the year your building was constructed, and your personal birth data. The bedroom advice that helps your neighbor may be exactly wrong for you. My consultations also draw on my background in psychology and 20 years of clinical practice, so recommendations account for how you actually live, not just where the walls are.

Yes, and this is one of the best times to consult. Before buying, I can assess a property's inherent strengths and challenges. Before selling, strategic adjustments can make a home show and feel better to buyers. During renovation, we can align the new layout with your goals from the start, which is far easier than correcting afterward. Learn more here.
